Mon-el travels to Earth in a rocket and Superboy mistakingly believes that Mon-el is his older brother from Krypton. After a while, Superboy suspects that Mon-el is a fake and paints large balls of lead green to simulate kryptonite. Unfortunately, the lead is extremely toxic to Mon-el and he finally explains that he is a Daxamite and actually visited Krypton before it exploded. Superboy and Mon-el decide to leave Mon-el in the Phantom Zone until he can receive a cure for his lead poisoning.
